About this beach
Chachacha Beach is about a three-minute walk from the centre of Kralendijk, near the southern cruise pier. The beach is small but sandy and has easy access to the water. It is named after a woman who once lived across the street. A wooden pier stands in the background.
The water is calm and safe for young children; swimming lessons are often given here and families come to picnic. The easy entry and the nearby reef make it suitable for snorkelling and diving: according to bonaire.com the snorkel depth is about 5 metres (beginner level) and the reef edge lies about 50 metres from shore.
There are no restrooms or restaurants at the beach. It lies within Bonaire National Marine Park, so the STINAPA Nature Fee is needed to enter the water.

Rif direct vanaf de oever
“Rustig strandje met direct toegang tot het rif. Goed snorkelen, weinig mensen. Water was helder. Wel wat rotsachtig bij de ingang, water shoes handig.”

Lekker onbekend
“Lekker onbekend gebleven. Geen faciliteiten, maar dat is juist fijn. Mooie plek om te shore-diven.”

Klein en charmant
“Klein en charmant. Snorkelen was beter dan verwacht. Geen schaduw, dus vroeg komen.”
