About this beach
Eden Beach is on the coastal road Kaya Gobernador N. Debrot, just north of the centre of Kralendijk. The beach is sandy, which is unusual for Bonaire, where most beaches are coral and pebbles. The water on the west coast is usually calm and swimming is allowed.
The beach is public and free. The restaurant and bar, the loungers and umbrellas, and the dive centre belong to the resort and are for guests and customers; non-guests can buy day passes (ask the resort for current prices). You can park at the resort.
The reef starts a short distance from shore. When snorkelling, watch for boats coming and going at the resort pier, stay out of the boat lane and use a brightly coloured snorkel buoy. You can also paddleboard and kayak through local providers. You reach the beach by car, scooter or taxi, or by bike or on foot from the centre.

Handig bij de stad
“Dicht bij de stad en toch een prima zandstrand. Beachbar aanwezig, toiletten en makkelijk parkeren. Snorkelen was oké, niet spectaculair maar prima voor een middag.”

Snel zwemmen in Kralendijk
“Fijne plek om even snel te zwemmen als je in Kralendijk bent. Water helder, zand is goed. Wordt wel wat drukker in de middag.”
